Time for an update, I suppose..

In the comments to my last post I made a brief mention that I've recently moved.

I found a pretty nice deal at a cheap price that fits perfectly for the moment, but it isn't without it's drawbacks. I'm still waiting to get internet there, and that's probably the biggest source of my frustrations at the moment.

PROS:

1. What was once a 50-55 minute drive is now about 4-5 minutes.
2. Because of the shorter drive I'm saving a ton on gas money.
3. My rent includes electric, water, and sattelite tv. One stop shopping, so to speak.
4. I live above a bar. If you don't see the upside to that, I probably can't explain it to you.

CONS:
1. I live upstairs. After a 12 hour day at work, the last thing I want to do is walk up another flight of stairs.
2. I live above a bar. Along with it's obvious positive points, it has an equal number of negative points.

In other news, work has been good, but getting increasingly busy. We are entering a phase that is very busy with a lot of scrutiny.

J'aime les femmes françaises

You know, as long as the appropriate spots are shaved.

But the real question is, can I get this on sattelite tv?

Look No Further

Reason #2 that Wisconsin is a great place to live:

You might become a millionaire.

FOND DU LAC, Wisconsin (AP) -- The single winning ticket for the $208.6 million (€163.1 million) prize in the multistate Powerball lottery was sold to someone in Fond du Lac, a city with a history of big jackpot winners, the Wisconsin Lottery said. (CNN.com)

Chad Vader, Day Shift Manager - Episode 2

From the good folks at Blame Society Films.

On a related note, I was in Wal-mart today. Thought about picking up one of these. I need it.

Still appropriate.

Remember how I said nothing good ever comes out of our area making national news? Yeah, we're at it again. We have a serial flasher. Kind of makes you chuckle, until you find out he flashed a young girl and sexually assaulted another woman. But he's up to about 45 and counting.
On my trek back from Omaha I heard a great song- a classic really. I bet it's been 5 years since I heard it, but it's completely relevant today:
Theres too many men
Too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can't you see
This is a land of confusion.

This is the world we live in
And these are the hands were given
Use them and lets start trying
To make it a place worth living in.
Since I'm usually a fan of remakes, I'm really digging the new version of this old Genesis song.
P.S. Thinking I might switch to a Mac if one of these is included in each purchase.
